As Android rom developers we strive to provide a fast, easy to use, rom to you the end user. Our approach in this is a bit different from the rest of the community. We do our best to modify the original Android code as little as possible for the maximum results, often reworking code to be better integrated into the operating system so that it appears it is meant to be there instead of a blaring feature that seems to be stuck onto the side.
